AbraCook is a personal recipe app. We collect only the minimum information needed to run the app and improve your experience.
Information we collect
- App usage data — anonymous analytics from Apple (App Store Connect) to understand downloads, crashes, and basic usage trends.
- Recipe content — the ideas and recipes you save in the app are stored in your iCloud account (if enabled) or locally on your device.
- Subscription status — if you subscribe, Apple shares non-personal purchase information so the app can unlock the correct plan.
What we do not collect
- No advertising identifiers.
- No third-party tracking cookies.
- No sale of your personal data to anyone.
Data storage
Recipes and preferences are stored on your device and, if you enable it, in your private iCloud storage. This data is managed by Apple and tied to your Apple ID.
Third-party services
AbraCook uses Apple services such as iCloud and the App Store for sync and subscriptions. These services are governed by Apple’s own privacy policies.
Recipe ideas and prompts that you submit in the app are processed by a third-party AI service solely for generating recipe text. We do not send your name, email, account details, or any other identifying information. Prompts are not stored on our servers and are never used for advertising or profiling.
Your choices
- You can delete the app at any time to remove local data from your device.
- You can manage iCloud storage and backups in your iOS settings.
- You can cancel subscriptions from your Apple ID account settings.
